Real Life Pizzaphile Reviews The Copper Oven

admin | July 25th, 2010 - 7:30 pm

As reported in this earlier blog post, over July 4th weekend, we were visited by Brooks Jones (along with a few of his friends).

Brooks is currently in the production stage of a feature-length documentary about all things pizza and keeps a blog, Me, Myself & Pie, as his research tracker for the film. Given the number of pizzas to pass through his gullet, it’s safe to say that Brooks’ reviews are – in a word – qualified.

So thanks Brooks, for your great review. We look forward to seeing you whenever you’re visiting the Finger Lakes.

Visit From A Real Life Pizzaphile

admin | July 7th, 2010 - 6:49 pm

Writer, director, cinematographer and pizzaphile Brooks Jones visited The Copper Oven this weekend.

We were pretty excited about Brooks’ visit – especially considering Brooks’ devotion to the topic of all things pizza as covered in his articulate blog aptly titled Me, Myself and Pie.

A note to readers: Brooks describes Me, Myself and Pie as his research tracker for a yet-to-be-released documentary on the same subject.

A little bit of simple math and one quickly comes to the realization that Brooks has likely sampled a wider variety of pizzas than any other human being – living or dead.

Which is why, of course, we were totally stoked by Brooks’ visit. Did Brooks’ like our pizza? Be certain that we’ll be checking his blog for mentions of The Copper Oven.

Thanks again for visiting Brooks! We hope you enjoyed your time in the Finger Lakes and look forward to seeing you again soon.
