Okay, alright… This is our last weekend of the 2011 season. Come visit from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM or be forced to wait until May 2012 for our irresistible wood fired pizza.

Wood Fired Pizza

BBQ Pizza – We start this pie with a slather of Chef Lerman’s Black-Strap Yankee Bar-B-Q Sauce, add some cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and then give it a few slices of sweet sausage from Autumn’s Harvest Farm in Romulus, NY. Come get it! [$12.00]

Autumn Harvest – This veggie pizza starts with generous dollops of everything good including Lively Run chevre, oven roasted squash puree, and if dollops of caramelized onion are possible well then there you go. Now for the best part – it’s finished with an apple cider reduction from local apples (boiled down by MJ herself). [$12.00]

Wine

Try the Cayuga Ridge Estate Riesling (which recently won Germany’s Best Riesling of the New World 2010 award) or your favorite red or white.

It’s autumn in Finger Lakes Wine Country! It’s our second to last weekend open for the season. Come visit us!

The 26 Mile Pizza – Perhaps our most popular veggie pizza, we call this one the 26 Mile because 100% of its toppings are locally sourced (within 26 miles of where our wood fired oven sits). We start it with a base of locally sourced caramelized peppers and onions and chevre from Lively Run. And when we’re done firing it, we finish this pizza with a drizzle of Butternut Squash Seed Oil from our friends at Stony Brook WholeHearted Foods. [$12.00]

Wood Fired Pizza

Sunny Side Up Pizza – As usual, we start this pie with a base of homemade creme fraiche from local cows (I know, right?) and then give it a few slices of sweet sausage from Autumn Harvest Farm in Romulus, NY. After that we add a three cheese blend. Then some onion scapes (from the garden). And – living up to its name – we top this pizza off with a farm fresh egg! [$12.00]

Summer Squash and Basil Pizza – We also start this pizza with a base of homemade creme fraiche and then comes locally grown yellow and green summer squash (grated) and then… a three cheese blend… and then… basil (from the garden). Oh and, when we’re done firing this pizza, we finish it with a touch of gray sea salt. [$11.00]

Proscuitto Pizza – As usual, we start this pie with a base of homemade creme fraiche from local cows (I know, right?) and then slightly smother it in a delightful combination of thinly sliced prosciutto, freshly grated parmesan and onion scapes (from the garden). And for a finishing touch after firing, a drizzle of local fig balsamic vinegar. [$12.00]

Asparagus Pizza – We also start this pizza with a base of homemade creme fraiche and then comes locally grown asparagus from Fink Farms (in Ovid, NY) and then… freshly grated parmesan… and then… onion scapes (from the garden). Oh and, when we’re done firing this pizza, we hope you can taste the touch of garden fresh mint that we finish it with. [$11.00]
